1) To have Avast allow our applications to be run, first double click the Avast icon on the bottom right hand corner of your screen:

2) Once the Avast control panel pops up, click Setting on the bottom left hand corner

3) Once the Settings page opens, click on the "allow me to decide" option then click OK

4) Proceed to run the Agent/Admin app. The first time after configuring Avast, you will receive a pop up. Click the "More details" link

5) Then click on "Run anyway (not recommended)"

This only has to be done once. Avast should remember to allow the application to run for the next time.
