Error Message: "Cannot continue. The application is improperly formatted. Contat the applicaton vender fo assistance"

  • Check to see if they have .net framework 4.7.1+, this is required to install the app. Simply checking windows updates will show you if they have updates for the .net framework version installed on their machine
  • If .net is not installed, You can download it from here: https://www.microsoft.com/net/download/framework
  • If you have installed .net framework 4.7.1+ and above and continue to get this error, check for windows updates and install all available updates.
